Signet Scanning Session at John Lewis’s Holm Place Herd – 9:30-11:30 on Friday 18th November 2022

John Lewis has kindly agreed that anyone with an interest in Sussex recording is welcome to drop in for a chat during his scanning session later this month.
You might want to chat about ultrasound scanning with Stuart Friswell our beef technician or you may wish to chat to Laura Eyles, Signet Breeding Consultant. Laura can update members (particularly new members) about recording protocols, data submission and reporting, inbreeding software or report interpretation.
Stuart and Laura will be with John from 9:30-11:30. We are extremely grateful to John for his offer to host us. His address details are shown below.

Laura has joined the Signet team as a breeding specialist, she comes from an agricultural background having grown up on a sheep farm in Cornwall, where they keep commercial ewes and run a small flock of pedigree Charollais sheep.

Laura has a strong interest in animal breeding and genetics having studied Animal Science (BSc Hons) at Harper Adams University. During her time at Harper, she spent an industrial placement in Cumbria working for a sheep breeding company and some of our clients may recognise her from this role.
